An IAPETUS2 student project using stable isotope analysis of scales to understand more about the ecology and life history of the giant pangolin, working with the University of Stirling and the ANPN in Gabon.
Urbanization is a well-known and widespread threat to biodiversity. In many species there are reductions in breeding success due to an urban-based diet, even though on the surface there are more feeding opportunities including access to supplementary food. We look at the case of urban blue tits.
