Adrian is a stable isotope geochemist, specializing in applied geological studies. He manages the SUERC/NEIF Geosciences Stable Isotope Lab. One of his principal tasks is to train PhD students who undertake extensive programmes of stable isotope analyses resulting from approved projects. In this effort, he is fortunate to be aided by the technical expertise of Mrs. Alison McDonald.
Alison McDonald is the NEIF Facility technician, responsible for care, maintenance and quality control of all of our stable isotope systems. In addition, she is a highly respected one-to-one trainer in the practice of our systems, having trained over 100 PhD students during her time with the Facilities at SUERC.
