Using stable isotope analysis of scales to understand more about the ecology and life history of the giant pangolin, and using isotope forensics to locate the origin of confiscated scales.

Urbanization is a well-known and widespread threat to biodiversity. In many species there are reductions in breeding success due to an urban-based diet, even though on the surface there are more feeding opportunities including access to supplementary food. We look at the case of urban blue tits.
